Physical Therapy Assistant
The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide treatment and patient care responsibilities including the following:
- - Providing a full range of PT services to pediatric patients in natural environments.
- - Exhibiting exceptional competency in PT evaluation, assessment, care-planning and treatment.
- - Delivering care based on the Texas State Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy Assistant and the Texas Practice act
- - Maintaining compliance with Preferred Therapy Services policies and procedures.
License, Certification, Immunization Requirements:
- - TX state license on or before the first day of employment.
- - CPR certification within the past 2 years.
- - TB Screening or Chest X-ray within the past year.
Education, Training and Experience:
- - Official graduation/certification from an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
- - Previous experience in the home care setting is desired.
- - The ability to assist in transferring, maneuvering, and lifting incapacitated clients in the home setting is preferred.
- - Previous experience working with children is preferred.

Occupational Therapy Assistant
